Your first 4, then your first 128
Prism Merge is a single-player number-merging puzzle on a 4×4 board. Move every tile left, right, up or down. Identical numbers that meet combine into one larger tile. There are no falling shapes, external players or countdowns: the challenge is keeping room for your next move.
- A new round starts with two adjacent 2 tiles in the top row. Move left to make a 4 and earn your first 4 points. One new 2 or 4 appears.
- Slide tiles together to create another 4. Merge the pair to make 8. Keep building pairs instead of filling every empty square.
- Reach a 128 tile to complete the first milestone. Continue keeps your board for 512, then 2048; it does not restart the round.
- If a swipe changes nothing, try a different direction. When the full board has no equal horizontal or vertical neighbors, the round ends. Undo gives you one move to reconsider.
Understand a merge before chasing a high score
A row of 2, 2, 2, 2 moved left becomes 4, 4, empty, empty before the new tile arrives, earning 8 points. It does not become 8 in that same move: each tile merges only once. A row of 2, empty, 2, empty can also merge, because the gaps close before matching. Undo restores the full previous board and score; it does not erase a personal best already earned.
Four practical habits
- Choose a corner for your largest tile and try to keep it there. This is a strategy to test, not a guaranteed solution.
- Keep similar values near each other so small numbers do not isolate your large tile.
- Watch the whole board before moving: a useful merge can also close another opening.
- Use Undo to inspect a changed move, or New round to start over after confirming. There are no paid boosts or compulsory ads in this implementation.
