Make your first 300-point pop
Orbit Pop uses an ordered color chain. The wrapping rows are only a screen layout: matching is based on neighboring entries in the chain, not orbs that merely look close vertically. Choose a gap to insert the launcher’s color.
- The opening chain is Mint, Coral, Coral, Sky, Gold, Gold, Mint, Sky. The first launcher orb is Coral.
- Insert Coral beside or between the two neighboring Coral orbs. The resulting run has three Coral entries, so those three disappear.
- Your score becomes 300, your combo becomes 1, and the chain has six orbs. The next launcher is also Coral, but no Coral pair remains: this next placement is a setup move, not an immediate pop.
What the game actually checks
Each removed orb gives 100 points. A consecutive successful pop adds 25 points for each previous pop in the streak: a second three-orb pop adds 325, not 600. A move with no pop resets the streak. Only the run touching the inserted orb is removed; newly joined neighbors do not trigger an automatic cascade.
Stuck? Check the symptom
- The glowing gap did not remove anything
- When no immediate match exists, the highlighted gap is only a suggested setup position. Read its setup label and plan a pair for a future orb. It is not a guaranteed winning move.
- The chain looks connected but did not match
- Colors must form a consecutive run of at least three after insertion. A nearby orb on the next visual row may not be its chain neighbor.
- When does the round finish?
- Clear every orb to win. A chain of 16 or more ends the round. The launcher repeats Coral, Coral, Gold, Gold, Mint, Mint, Sky, Sky; there is no countdown.
Get the opening pop, then deliberately compare a setup move with an immediate matching move. New orbit restarts the fixed opening; it is not a random new level. Your best completed-round score saves locally when storage is available.
