Level guide
All 12 Doodle Road levels
Doodle Road is a draw-and-drive puzzle: sketch one safe road from the car to the flag, then press Drive it. This guide lists the real board challenge in every level and one route-planning idea to try.
LEVEL 01
First Sketch
Board challenge
An open board for learning the start and finish checks.
Route idea
Draw one gentle road from the car to the flag before trying to make it shorter.
LEVEL 02
Broken Ground
Board challenge
A dark gap begins below the start-to-finish line.
Route idea
Keep the road level with the car and flag. The straight example stays above the gap; dipping down into it fails.
LEVEL 03
Underpass
Board challenge
A tall wall occupies the upper middle of the board.
Route idea
Take the low route beneath the wall and leave a little space at its lower corner.
LEVEL 04
Roundabout
Board challenge
One central boulder breaks the direct path.
Route idea
Use a calm curve around either side instead of a sharp turn against the rock.
LEVEL 05
Spring Route
Board challenge
A spring pit and a rock divide the board.
Route idea
Arc over the pit, then make one measured correction around the rock.
LEVEL 06
Quiet Engine
Board challenge
The car starts high and the finish sits lower.
Route idea
Sketch a long downhill line while keeping clear of the ditch and the final rock.
LEVEL 07
Canyon Curve
Board challenge
Two cliff shapes create a narrow changing route.
Route idea
Choose one wide curve through the open canyon instead of joining several sharp bends.
LEVEL 08
Twin Towers
Board challenge
Two tower blocks leave a shifting middle corridor.
Route idea
Thread the open space between the towers with a route that stays clear at both corners.
LEVEL 09
Moonlight Bay
Board challenge
Water fills the lower board and a moon rock sits above it.
Route idea
Stay above the water, then pass below the moon rock on the way to the flag.
LEVEL 10
Switchback
Board challenge
A tall central barrier and a rock require two decisions.
Route idea
Draw two gentle bends around the barrier and rock; a straight diagonal is too steep.
LEVEL 11
Paper Forest
Board challenge
Three trees sit across the route.
Route idea
Find the clearing between the trees and remove any loop that adds unnecessary ink.
LEVEL 12
Golden Finale
Board challenge
A wall, gap, and rock combine the earlier ideas.
Route idea
Go around the wall, bridge the gap, and leave room under or over the last rock.
How stars and unlocks work
Finish a level to unlock the next one. Valid roads at 100 board units or less earn three stars; roads above 100 and up to 125 earn two; longer valid roads earn one. Roads over 160 are rejected, so first make a safe route and then replay it with fewer detours.
How to read the hazard diagrams
The diagrams above share their start, flag and obstacle coordinates with the game itself. Filled dark shapes are danger zones, the green dot is your start, and the yellow flag is your finish. The dashed path shows one route checked against the game’s geometry, not a player recording or the only solution.
On level 4, the boulder is centered at (51, 34) with radius 10: drawing straight at height 43 clips it. The example passes below it at height 49. On level 8, first pass below the left tower, then rise through the opening before the right tower. Check the whole connecting segment, not just its endpoints.
Draw smoothly between the example bends. Sparse pointer jumps may fail the steepness check even when the outline looks similar. Route lengths are rounded board units; screen size does not change the geometry.
Common route checks
- Start and finish: begin close to the car and end close to the flag.
- Hazards: every section of the drawn line must stay outside dark danger zones.
- Steepness: redraw sudden vertical jumps as a gradual curve.
- Progress: stars and unlocked levels are saved locally in the browser you play in.
