An easy-to-start block puzzle with room to think
Block Bloom is an original free browser block puzzle on an 8×8 board. There are no falling blocks and no countdown. You choose the order of three shapes, place them carefully, and clear complete rows or columns. Its garden colors and small jewel tiles turn each cleared line into a bloom.
How to play Block Bloom
- On your first garden, the single seed block is already selected. Tap the glowing square at the bottom right to clear your first row.
- Choose another piece in the tray. Place it by tapping its top-left board square. A desktop preview shows whether the placement fits.
- Fill all eight cells in a row or column. They disappear together, freeing space for new blocks. Use all three pieces to receive a fresh tray.
- Keep clearing on consecutive moves to build a combo. Switch to Daily garden when you want a 1,000-point objective.
Scoring and useful strategies
Each placed tile earns 10 points. Each cleared line earns 100 points multiplied by your current consecutive-clear combo. Clearing multiple lines in one move adds a further 100 points. A move without a clear resets the combo.
- Check all three pieces before placing the first one: a square needs a different opening from a long bar.
- Keep a lane open for long shapes. Scattered one-cell gaps are hard to use.
- Look for a row-and-column intersection. One placement can clear both lines at once.
- Use Undo after a cramped placement. Show a space highlights a legal position, not an optimal solution.
